![]() Geert and Harmtje Strovenjans This photo was found in the effects of Katherine Stroven. Geert was killed by lightening in Germany, his wife & their 7 children came to America. 4 of the children lived & raised families in Newaygo County, 3 children raised their families in Ottawa County area. The mother, Harmtje, stayed with several of her children, but died in Ottawa County at her son's home. We can only guess when this photo was taken, but we guess it was taken around 1840 or before. submitted by Jean Stroven |

Unknown Gentleman Can you help identify this man? Bastubacka/Bast/Björndahl/Kaitfors are possibly the surnames associated with the photo. The photo was in the attic of a home in Långbacka, Nedervetil, Finland.
