| Zerlaut, Cpl.Joseph A. | From Bridgeton, age 22, enlisted in Co. H, 6th Michigan Cavalry on July. 29, 1862 at Muskegon. Shot in the leg at Buckland's Mills, Oct., 1863. While in the hospital recuperating from his wounds, Abraham Lincoln visited and Joseph Zerlaut shook his hand. Mustered out Nov. 24, 1865, returned to county. |
